About the event
Nate Sheets is a fifth-generation Texan, U.S. Navy veteran, entrepreneur, and is currently running for Texas Agriculture Commissioner in the 2026 election. Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, Sheets served six years in the United States Naval Reserve before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas State University.
Sheets is the founder of Nature Nate’s Honey, a nationally recognized raw honey brand he built from a single backyard beehive into one of America’s most successful honey companies. After selling the business in 2021 and serving as its CEO through 2024, he transitioned from private-sector leadership to public service with a campaign focused on supporting Texas farmers, ranchers, and rural economies.
We will be hearing from Nate Sheets about the future of agriculture in Texas, and enjoying farm-to-table food from Sovereignty Ranch. If you come early, you can have a 45-minute farm tour with Mollie Engelhart and learn about regenerative agriculture.

Dinner six course, farm-to-table meal at the barn restaurant.
