Help us support local families who have lost their homes in the recent floods by purchasing temporary housing for them.
Every dollar amount you contribute goes directly to cover the costs associated with temporary housing (electricity, housekeeping, and food) for local families.
There are lots of stories of people who have already gone through the flood relief support they could access and are still struggling, so we are doing our best to fill the gaps with the resources we have.
Mollie was out delivering food to first responders in Kerrville recently and met a man with his two children (who were wearing the same pjs from the night they lost their home in the flood). She offered him and the kids a temporary place to stay for a while on Sovereignty Ranch, but he said that he would rather offer the housing to a woman he saw living in a tent with her 4 children.
When Mollie went back to find them, the man said the woman had left to go stay with family in another part of the state but was worried she might loose her job if she couldn't return. But the man said he would recieve Mollies offer to come stay for a while while he worked out their next steps in recovering from loosing their home.
Thank you for being with us in this!
